Conquest Motorhomes strengthens it’s team Conquest Motorhomes is pleased to announce the recent addition to the Conquest family. J.D. Hershberger was hired recently as the new Director of Purchasing. J.D. has attended Negotiation seminars at Chester Karrass and previously purchased for Keystone RV in Goshen, IN. J.D. is excited to be a part of such a passionate group and looks forward to accomplishing his own professional goals while reaching the goals of Conquest Motorhomes. Lean Production and full communication are both long term goals that Conquest and J.D. have and aiming towards achieving these goals can create strength and growth as a team. When asked about his department, J.D. stated that,”I feel strongly that this department has bought into the theory that accomplishing the goals that I have set is a journey, not a destination. Together, we have to work hand in hand to continue improving, growing and being more efficient as a team.” Other goals of J.D. and of Conquest for the rest of this year and forward are to reduce production shortages, obsolescence, and increase turns. On a personal note, J.D is married with 2 year old twin daughters and a 9 month old son. If he is not spending time with the family then it is a good bet that he’s on the golf course.
