Gulf Stream records phenomenal growth on Class-A market After last weeks-six month low in consumer confidence reported by The Associated Press, Gulf Stream Coach, Inc. Motorized Division is reporting phenomenal growth according to data from Statistical Surveys, Incorporated. Gulf Stream Coach has posted a 20.6% growth year to date for February in the Motorhome Market. A phenomenal 7% increase represented in the Class-A market, while many manufacturers posted losses. “Even though the market is challenged by the dynamics of high gas prices and tighter consumer budget, Gulf Stream products continue to sell.” States Dave Middleton, Gulf Stream Coach Class-A Division National Sales Manager. “The new and innovative products, their high value, fuel efficient chassis offerings and amazing floor plans are what’s really driving sales on dealer lots.” Gulf Stream introduced many new high value, aggressively priced motor homes at Louisville in December that have been hitting the market in full force in the first quarter of 2007. The top sellers are the Full Wall slide, available on their Residential living Tourmaster; Gas powered Sun Voyager, and the fuel efficient Crescendo Front Engine Diesel built on the Freightliner FRED Chassis. Other top performers for Gulf Stream are the 8390 Crescendo and 8389 Sun Voyager, and mid-sized Independence 8360 that feature Gulf Stream’s exclusive Three Zone Living concept that facilitates true-to-life family dynamics. Middleton adds, “It just goes to show that when you listen to the market and deliver the features they ask for, it makes all the difference in the world.” |
